1st Mile Bistro is a sister concern of the world famous McCurry restaurant. 1st Mile Bistro is located at 108, Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur. It was given the name 1st Mile Stone as it is in the 1st mile of Jalan Ipoh, K.L. This restaurant was established in April 2006 and has just celebrated its 3rd Anniversary.
The famous Jalan Ipoh road was the trunk road that connected Kuala Lumpur to areas like Ipoh, Perek before the North- South highway was developed. Jalan Ipoh benefited many other smaller towns that developed along the way. With time, the property developed along the way and many business centers were developed. Every nation's got their own food and in Malaysia, there are restaurants catering to different people. McCurry is the first Indian restaurant and after receiving a huge success, it opened the first Western-style waterhole of the area and named it as 1st Mile Bistro.
